MIXED VEG AND CHICKEN

INGREDIENTS

FOR MARINATION

BOWL OF CHICKEN

PLASTIC BAG FOR POUNDING

SALT-1/2 TEASPOON

 

CUMIN POWDER-1 TEASPOON

CHILLI POWDER-1TEASPOON

OREGANO-1TEASPOON

LITTLE TURMERIC

FOR COOKING

OLIVE OIL OR COCONUT OIL

1 CHOPPED ONION

1 CHOPPED SWEET POTATO

1 GREEN PEPPER

 

1 CUP BROCCOLI

LIQUIDS

TOMATO SAUCE

CHICKEN BROTH

  1. RED WINE VINEGAR

LETS START

Add 2 tablespoon of olive oil or coconut oil to the non-stick pan.

Add marinated chicken to pan and allow in for 3minutes to brown on one side, do not close the lid.

After 3minutes add chopped onions, green pepper, broccoli and sweet potato and allow it to cook for 3minutes. Do not cover lid.

After 3minutes add tomato sauce low in sodium, next step to add chicken broth and ¼ teaspoon of red wine vinegar.

Close the lid and allow it to cook for 30minutes in low flame. And serve the delicious and healthy mixed veg and chicken.
